Chinese solar PV manufacturer LONGi has launched its new solar-plus-storage strategy, LONGi One, signaling a shift away from traditional multi-vendor system architectures toward a fully integrated design approach.
At the core of the strategy is the company’s “one system, one platform, one responsibility” model. Under this framework, LONGi serves as a single partner across the entire project lifecycle—from design and delivery to operation and maintenance. The company said this structure eliminates fragmented vendor interfaces, reduces accountability gaps, and enables faster issue resolution.
LONGi One is designed to address longstanding industry challenges through full-stack integration. The solution combines the company’s back-contact (BC) solar technology with its 5S energy storage platform, forming what LONGi describes as a unified “solar generator.”
The offering is structured across both utility-scale and commercial and industrial (C&I) segments. For large-scale projects, the OneBank 2.0 platform delivers an integrated AC/DC storage solution, supported by proprietary iCCS technology. This enables millisecond-level fault detection and isolation, which LONGi claims can reduce system failure rates by up to 60% and shorten pre-commissioning timelines by more than 30%.
In the C&I segment, the Hi-MO One module, paired with the EnergyOne platform, achieves module efficiencies of 24.8% and system efficiencies of up to 90.3%. The system also offers response times of under 20 milliseconds, enhancing operational performance and grid responsiveness.
In parallel, LONGi introduced its “2830 Plan,” which aims to establish 30 localized service centers worldwide by 2028, further strengthening its global service capabilities.
