Recently, Yongfu Co., Ltd. and Indonesia's PT Sumber Energi Surya Morowali officially signed the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contract for the 200MWac mountainous photovoltaic (PV) project and the 80MW/80MWh energy storage system project in the Morowali Industrial Park, Sulawesi, Indonesia. This project is jointly invested in and developed by Singapore's Sembcorp Industries (Sembcorp) and Indonesia's SESNA Company.

As Indonesia's largest current integrated solar PV and energy storage project, upon completion it is expected to generate approximately 350 million kilowatt-hours (kWh) of electricity annually, reducing carbon dioxide emissions by around 280,000 tons per year.

The project will provide stable and clean power to the Morowali Industrial Park, driving the park's green and low-carbon transition, and supporting Indonesia in achieving its strategic goal of "Net Zero Emissions by 2060".

Mr. Lin Yiwen, Chairman of Yongfu Co., Ltd., stated at the signing ceremony: "This project is Yongfu's first overseas PV-storage EPC project in Indonesia and holds significant strategic importance. It marks not only a crucial step in the company's internationalization journey but also an important practice in serving the global energy transition. The company will leverage its strengths in new energy technology and international project experience to establish a safe, reliable, green, low-carbon, smart, and highly efficient new energy benchmark project for the client. Looking ahead, Yongfu will continue to advance its global strategic layout. With higher-quality zero-carbon power solutions and products, we will join hands with global partners to forge a new chapter of intelligent and sustainable zero-carbon development!"
