Taiwan-based ShinFox Energy and ComClark Network and Technology Corp. have entered into a Joint Development Agreement (JDA) to collaborate on green energy initiatives in the Philippines. The agreement, signed during a recent ceremony, marks a strategic step toward developing sustainable energy solutions to support the country’s expanding ICT infrastructure.
The partnership underscores the growing convergence between telecom and renewable energy, a synergy seen as crucial for powering a greener, more resilient digital economy. “Energy is just the starting point,” said Wazcher CEO Feng Chiu in a social media post announcing the collaboration.
The JDA was signed by ShinFox Energy General Manager Hui-Sen Hu and ComClark CEO Dennis Anthony Uy, with the signing witnessed by Philippine Presidential Communications Office Secretary Cheloy Velicaria-Garafil and Anthony B. ShinFox Energy is a subsidiary of the Foxlink Group, focusing on solar, wind, and energy storage solutions. ComClark, a key player in the Philippine telecom landscape, operates the Converge ICT brand, offering nationwide fiber networks and cable TV services.
This collaboration is expected to drive forward clean energy adoption in the Philippines, while reinforcing the digital backbone of the country’s economic development.
