Trina Solar has secured a module supply agreement with VERBUND Green Power, the renewable energy subsidiary of Austrian energy group VERBUND. Under the contract terms, Trina will deliver over 700MW of high-efficiency photovoltaic modules to VERBUND's projects in Spain and Italy over the next five years.
Industry data shows the agreement involves Trina's N-type module series, recognized by the market for power generation performance and environmental adaptability. As a leading module manufacturer, Trina maintains Tier 1 status in BloombergNEF's (BNEF) module manufacturer rankings, with its energy storage division holding the same rating for six consecutive quarters.
Dietmar Reiner, Managing Director of VERBUND Green Power, commented: "Supplier selection prioritized product reliability and technological expertise to support high-standard European plant construction."
Gonzalo de la Viña, Head of Trina Solar Europe, noted the partnership strengthens renewable energy infrastructure development in Europe. Industry observers regard the collaboration as strategically significant for Europe's energy transition.
