LONGi has entered a strategic cooperation with Turkish construction firm Özgün İnşaat to supply 362MW of its Hi-MO series modules for the Hassi Delel Reg photovoltaic project in Algeria. This project is part of Algeria's 3GW national solar initiative led by state-owned utility Sonelgaz.

The project will utilize bifacial Hi-MO 7 modules adapted for high-temperature environments, featuring a temperature coefficient of -0.280%/°C. Technical specifications indicate this characteristic enhances power generation efficiency under Algeria's arid and hot climatic conditions.

Özge Baki, Energy General Manager of Özgün İnşaat's parent company KRK Holding, stated: "Module selection considered verified generation performance data and bankability. LONGi's technical solution meets the project's demanding environmental requirements."

Zhang Sheng, Head of LONGi's Utility Business in Europe, confirmed the project is expected to generate approximately 700GWh annually, equivalent to reducing CO₂ emissions by 450,000 metric tons. As a key project in Algeria's energy transition, its progress is being closely monitored by North African energy markets.
