Meta and Invenergy Sign Deal for 791 MW of Clean Power for Data Centers

On June 26, Invenergy, the largest private clean energy solutions developer in the U.S., and Meta Platforms announced the signing of four clean energy agreements. Invenergy will provide Meta with a total of 791MW of solar and wind power generation, encompassing three solar generation centers and one wind generation center, with details as follows:


Yellow Wood Solar Energy Center (OH) – 300 MW – Expected Commercial Operations 2027 


Pleasant Prairie Solar Energy Center (OH) - 140 MW – Expected Commercial Operations 2027 


Decoy Solar Energy Center (AR) - 155 MW – Expected Commercial Operations 2027


Seaway Wind Energy Center (TX) - 196 MW – Expected Commercial Operations 2028


In 2024, Meta has procured 1,000MW of new renewable energy capacity from Invenergy to support its operations, data center expansion, and clean energy objectives. To date, their collective clean energy collaborations have reached 1,800MW.
