Jinko ESS has entered a strategic partnership with Greek energy group METLEN to deploy over 3GWh of grid-scale energy storage projects across Chile and European markets. The framework agreement was signed at METLEN’s Athens headquarters.

The collaboration builds upon their ongoing 1.6GWh project in Chile, where Jinko ESS is supplying its containerized G25MWh energy storage solution. Full delivery for this phase is slated for Q4 2025.

Zhou Fangkai, CEO of Jinko ESS, stated: "Combining METLEN’s robust energy infrastructure with our technological innovation creates significant value for grid operators. This long-term agreement accelerates clean energy transition in key markets."

Nikos Papapetrou, METLEN’s Managing Director of Renewable Energy Business, emphasized: "This partnership merges cutting-edge storage technology with our global expertise to develop resilient, large-scale energy infrastructure."

The alliance strengthens Jinko ESS’s global storage footprint while advancing METLEN’s strategic shift toward sustainable energy. Their joint efforts will deliver enhanced grid stability solutions for European and South American markets.
