Envision Energy, a global leader in green technology, has announced a strategic partnership with SUN Terra, Indonesia’s leading renewable energy company, to collaborate on the development and deployment of advanced energy storage solutions across key markets including Southeast Asia, India, and Australia.

This partnership aims to support the clean energy transition by accelerating the adoption of innovative storage technologies, strengthening global supply chains, and promoting localized manufacturing and technological expertise in these fast-growing regions.

Under the agreement, Envision and SUN Terra will work together on a range of initiatives, including:

  • Procurement and distribution of energy storage systems

  • Localized assembly and manufacturing

  • Technology licensing

  • End-to-end solution delivery

The collaboration will establish a comprehensive partnership that spans the entire energy storage value chain, with the goal of rapidly scaling storage deployment in each target market.

Kane Xu, Senior Vice President and President of International Product Lines at Envision Energy, commented:

“SUN Terra’s strong local presence and project development capabilities are highly complementary to Envision’s expertise in energy storage. Together, we aim to drive rapid growth across Southeast Asia, India, and Australia, creating long-term momentum for developing robust, localized energy ecosystems.”

Karina Darmawan, CEO of SUN Terra, added:

“As a key part of Sinar Mas’ renewable energy portfolio, SUN Terra is committed to advancing clean energy initiatives in Indonesia, Australia, and India. Our collaboration with Envision not only brings world-class energy storage technologies to the region, but also supports the localization of production and innovation in key markets.”

SUN Terra, a subsidiary of the Sinar Mas Group – one of Indonesia’s most prominent conglomerates – specializes in end-to-end renewable energy project development. The company has delivered large-scale solar projects in Indonesia, Australia, and India and provides integrated services in energy storage and battery lifecycle management, contributing to the region’s long-term energy transformation.

This strategic partnership underscores both companies’ commitment to enabling sustainable energy infrastructure and accelerating the clean energy transition through innovation, localization, and cross-border collaboration.
